I love this gold brocade with blue walls. Maybe I could reupholster this bargain vintage couch (that I love, but everyone else seems to hate, even though it is dirt cheap) in a gold brocade. It would look fantastic with my cream leather chairs. Note the small painting above to corniced window. I love the way the drapery rod is hung. 
**Update: The above sofa has been purchased. Not by me. 
sometime in june i would be down to have upholstery day and I'll re-do the banana chair and you can do the couch, or, if you'd rather, you can help me do the banana chair and we can refinish two oak chairs i buy from Salt Lake Antiques. i think it sounds fun.
